KWESI-APPIAH-383-1

Sudan head coach Kwesi Appiah has declared that his team has no fear for Nigeria, DAILY POST reports.

The Falcons were denied maximum points in their opening fixture at the 2024 African Nations against Congo Brazzaville after their opponent scored a late equaliser.

They now face a difficult test against a Nigerian side that lost their first game 1-0 to defending champions Senegal.

Both countries need a positive result from the game to maintain their push for a place in the quarter-finals.

While Appiah recognised the quality of their opponent, the Ghanaian backed his side to get a good result.

“Nigeria is one of the biggest nations in African football and we respect them, but we won’t fear them,” Appiah told a press conference on Monday.
