Mother Of Late Nigerian Skit Maker Addresses Money Ritual Rumour

The mother of late skit maker and fast-rising comedian, Sanku Comedy, has refuted claims suggesting that her son’s de@th was connected to money rituals.

Shortly after his death, speculations went viral on social media that the comedian was involved in rituals.

 

But in a now-viral video, the middle-aged woman argued that her son was a devout Muslim who “never engaged in any fetish practice”.

 

“Many Alfas gave him several soaps to be using but he asked me to only keep praying for him and that I shouldn’t do anything spiritual on his behalf. He said my prayers have been helping him,” she said.

 

“Before he died, he said I should come and stay with him and rest at his place before I start working again. It hasn’t even been up to one month. Sanku was a good child.

 

“He told me to not worry about anything and that I will reap the fruits of my labour. He promised me that he and his siblings will become great people. He really tried his best. He used to help me to hawk peppers before he asked me to allow him face comedy.
