
Nollywood Actor Ibrahim Chatta Mourns the Loss of His Son

The 54-year-old actor shared the heartbreaking news on Saturday through a post on his Instagram page, though he did not disclose details surrounding his son’s passing.
Posting a photo of the late boy, Chatta wrote:
“Inna lillahi wa inna ilayhi raji’un. Ya Allah, You are the Knower of all things. Rest on, dear son, champ.”
Shortly after the announcement, colleagues, fans, and well-wishers flooded his comment section with condolence messages, praying for strength and comfort for the grieving actor.
This tragic development comes just days after veteran actress, Peju Ogunmola, also lost her only son, Ayomikun, who died in Ibadan in his early 30s.
The two painful incidents have plunged the Nollywood community into mourning, leaving colleagues and fans shocked at the double tragedies.
Sadly, this is not the first time Chatta has experienced such a devastating loss. Back in June, he recounted how he lost his first child, a daughter, many years ago.
