A white man identified via his Instagram handle as @chef_mohammad_baydoun, has received accolades of high respect for cooking the Yoruba land’s most popular delicacy, Amala and Ewedu.
The chef made and shared video of him cooking the meal from scratch in what looked like the kitchen of a restaurant.
He is seen in the video pounding the Ewedu leaves after cooking them, to making the sauce, to pounding the beans for Gbegiri, and down to making the Amala from scratch.
The video has gathered more than 5 million views as well as praises to his name for making the delicacy like a pro.
